Fashionable Headwear

When Mei-Li was littler, I used to put hats on her.  Right from the beginning, it seemed like the thing to do.

It was cold at the Beijing Zoo in February.

And it was cold at home for our first walk outside.

Hats keep the heat in whether you're playing or working.

Catching night-time snowflakes at the old house.

ML and Bear-Bear shoveling the driveway the next day.

Sometimes a new hat and matching mittens are so exciting, you have to wear them to bed.

Building a snowman at the new place.

Of course, a little girl should also wear a hat to protect from the sun.

Not so sure about this frilly one.

Stripes?  Better.

Stripes look good on Bampa too!

Sometimes fashion demands a hat.

Amma bought Mei-Li an Easter outfit.

No hat?

Hat!

Squeaky shoes?  Check.  Ladybug sweater?  Check.  Hat?  Check!

I'll probably only wear this for the pictures.

Sometimes hats are for festive occasions.

Checking out the stocking on Christmas morning.

Here, Bear-Bear--you try!

Birthday tiara?  Of course.

Chickie hat at Mandarin camp.

Fearsome Lion Dancer!

Sometimes you need a big hat.

Mama's hat is blue.

Cousin Jamie's hat is red!

Sometimes a hat isn't a hat...

Poppa, did you just put an orange on my head?

You're sure this isn't a hat?  Feels like a hat.

Surely Ducky counts as a hat!

Hat?

Hat?

Hat?

Hat?

Hat?

Bear-Bear has a hat collection too, but that's another post...

  2. I resisted posting the undies-hat picture. Barely.
